People think school is boring but not when you’re at ESE. We try to make the learning environment fun both in the classroom and also throughout the school. Apart from having the Leisure team who organizes various activities every week, the Academics department thought about organizing some fun games for students who were interested in participating and putting their English into practice in a social and active environment.

‘Afternoon Mingle’ was the first of its kind and it turned out to be a great success. It included five different activities which kept the students on the edge of their seats:  they had to guess by feeling objects in a bag what they were, walking towards and grabbing a target while blind folded, guessing the right film from a screen shot, guessing the right keyword and getting some basic geography facts right.

The students laughed, argued and mingled together as they met new friends through this sociable competition. The winners were given a small token for their achievement. Some light, fast paced music kept them going through the activities whilst teachers guided them throughout. Surely we continued to build on what we strive to achieve at ESE: the feeling of one big family.
