Miniclass
9Price & BookingThe Miniclass course is for adults who prefer to study English in Malta in smaller groups. As a Miniclass learner you benefit from more individual attention from your teacher and more opportunities for speaking in order to develop greater confidence and fluency.
Is this Miniclass right for you?
The Miniclass is very similar to a General English class but you study the English language in smaller groups of maximum 6 students.
This course will help you:
- Improve your fluency
- Improve your general level of English
- Increase your vocabulary, develop your grammar and improve your pronunciation
- Develop the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing
What will you study?
You improve your knowledge and understanding of the English language (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) and develop your core language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) around topics of general interest. The smaller group size allows the teacher to target your individual needs and interests more specifically.
How is this course structured?
A Miniclass is similar to the General English 30 course but with fewer students. You follow 20 group lessons of 45 minutes each in the morning and another 10 group lessons of 45 minutes each in the afternoon per week.
As with many other English language courses offered at European School of English, this English class in miniclass size is available at all levels from Beginner (A1 Common European Framework Reference) to Proficiency (C2 CEFR). This English course is available throughout the summer and winter months.
As a Miniclass learner, you follow the course at the right level for you because our academic staff determines your language level either through the ESE online placement test (which must be submitted at least 14 days before you start your course) or through a short test which you sit for on your first day at school.
You can continue to improve your English through self-study by accessing our e-Learning programme from the time you enrol until three months after you finish your course.
