What will teen learners on this course study?
Teens who follow this course will be engaged in a number of language tasks which are stimulating and rewarding. Tasks are varied and can include problem-solving activities, role plays, questionnaires, sharing experiences, reading and listening activities. Our teaching methods ensure that learners are given the opportunity to use English in meaningful and real life situations as they interact with other non-native learners from all over the world.
How is the Intensive English course structured?
Intensive English learners follow 20 General English group lessons (of 45 minutes each) and 10 one-to-one lessons (of 45 minutes each) per week.
Teen courses start every Monday at the European School of English. All learners may take their placement test online (www.ese-edu.com) at least 14 days before their course starts in Malta. Alternatively, they may take a placement test on their first day at school to establish their English language level. After their test, teens are allocated to a class which is suitable for their language level and age. Our academic staff ensures that there is a good mix of nationalities in every class.
There are a maximum of 15 learners in a class for the group course.
