Six fun and thrill-filled activities exclusive for ESE students (aged 16 and over). All activities are closely supervised by professional staff.

All the activities will take place over a two-week period (Seasonal).

Sailing Level One (4 half days - 12 hours)

This course is intended for those persons who are new to this sport and willing to learn the first basic step to become a dinghy sailor. After completing the course students are expected to indicate main sailing boat parts and rigging and sail a triangular course in a mono sail (topper) in light to moderate conditions all under supervision.

Sailing Level Two(4 half days - 12 hours)

This course is recommended as an immediate follow up to the beginner's course, to improve skills and for those students who want to sail single-handed and supervised in closed waters (bays and harbours) in moderate conditions.

Padi Open Water Diving Course

This course is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge and skills they need to safely gain experience in the diving environment. This course consists of Five Knowledge development Sessions (Classroom), Five Confined Water Dives (Pool or sheltered bay) learning practical water skills and Four Open Water Dives and require 8 half days to complete.

Padi Advanced Open Water Diving Course

This course provides the Open Water Diver with structured, and well-supervised sessions to gain additional experience. This course takes 5 half days and consists of five open water dives: Deep, Navigation and Three Elective Dives which can be either of the following - Multi-Level, Naturalist, Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & recovery or Night. All students taking the Advanced Course must be in possesion of a valid Open Water Certificate.

Note

Students who book a Diving or a Sailing course through ESE should contact our leisure department on their first day at school. ESE cannot be responsible for students who fail to inform our leisure department about their Diving or Sailing Course.

If an applicant is under 18 years old of age, ESE must be provided with the PADI Basic/Advanced Consent Form filled in and signed by applicant's parents/guardians before booking can be accepted. English with Diving / Sailing is also available for students taking afternoon lessons.
